What is wealth$%: If you ask an average person on the street, the answer you'll get is probably: Ownership of a big house, luxury car (or cars), money in the bank (without going into specifics), et cetera..

Wrong answer you say$%: Well, it really depends on who you are, your beliefs and the objectives you hold in life.

You see, in order to find the 'wealth' that you wanted, you have to first define it in your head. Otherwise, you may spend all your life looking for the 'wealth' that someone else defined, only to realize that it's not what you wanted!

While most would agree that money isn't everything, the same crowd would also likely to agree that it's indispensable in modern day living as it provides for our basic needs to sustain our very existence. Try imagining for a moment that whatever income that you draw stopped and you're totally broke this very minute, then think about what might happen next, think in the line of the outstanding bills and loans that you are liable to, your next meal or whatever else that you'll need money for.. scary thought isn't it $%:

On the other hand, having too much money without much fulfillment in life would amount to nothing as well. The world is never short of stories of how some of the rich and famous effortlessly squandered all their wealth in a relatively short time (compared to the time it took for them to build them), how some resort to drugs and ended their life abruptly, others moved from one failed relationship to another or drown themselves with alcohol trying to find the meaning of their existence. If you're one who strongly believes that money will make every man on earth happy... well, think again!

So wealth isn't all about money or any of the earthy possessions that one can buy with it, it should also encompass mental and physical well being. What's the point in having all the money in the world, a big house and a luxury car parked up front, if you're either bedridden by sickness or is wasting your life away on drugs or alcohol$%:

To be truly wealthy, one not only has to be able to afford whatever basic needs required to sustain life, be debt free and have enough to never ever worry about tomorrow (or the next 50 years of your life!), one should also have the ability to lead the life that he wanted and achieve mental fulfillment.

In short, when your time is up, you should be able to smile and tell yourself that you've lived a life that is second to none.

You only have one life, no amount of money is going to get you another one or buy you a second chance at it, so take massive actions now before it's too late!
